Manufacturing of cuckoo clocks

The chronicle of the Cuckoo Clock made in the Black Forest reports their origin to go back as far as until the middle of the 18th century. In fact the first Cuckoo Clock has been built about the year 1750 by Franz Anton Ketterer of Schönwald.


Today carving of the Cuckoo Clocks must be done by manually skilled and experienced masters. This forms a guaranty that all the clocks delivered by the Tradition Shop are hand-made.

It is, moreover, a matter of course that we are paying utmost attention to the perfect quality of our products. We guarantee each clock for having been hung up and rigorously inspected by a period of 12-24 hours before being packed for shipment.
